Web, on plans with developer mode (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, Edu).
Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create.
Name it Reelhouse, paste https://api.reelhouse.io/mcp as the server URL, and pick OAuth for authentication. Tick that you trust it and create it.
Reelhouse opens. Sign in with your email (new here? that makes your account) and click Connect.
In a new chat, turn Reelhouse on from the + menu and ask for a video.
Claude
claude.ai and the Claude desktop app, on every plan.
Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
Name it Reelhouse, paste https://api.reelhouse.io/mcp and add it.
Click Connect. Reelhouse opens: sign in with your email and click Connect.
In a chat, make sure Reelhouse is on in the tools menu, then ask for a video.
Claude Code
In your terminal.
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user reelhouse https://api.reelhouse.io/mcp
Run the command above (--scope user makes it available in every project).
Start Claude Code, type /mcp, pick reelhouse and choose Authenticate.
Your browser opens Reelhouse: sign in and click Connect. Then just ask.
Add Reelhouse as a remote (Streamable HTTP) server with the URL above. Clients that support MCP sign-in open Reelhouse for you to click Connect.
If your client can’t sign in, use a key: in the app, Settings → Agent access → Create a key, then send it as the header Authorization: Bearer rh_….
Menu names move around as these apps update. If a step looks different, look for “connectors”, “MCP” or “tools” in the app’s settings.

Good to know
Do I need a Reelhouse account first?
No. Connect your agent first: signing in with your email during the connection makes your account, with the free trial credits. Tell your agent your website and it sets up the rest.
What does it cost?
The same as in the app. Writing scripts, cuts and shot lists is free; making a video uses credits from your plan, and every limit in the app applies to your agent too.
Can I see what my agent made?
Yes. Everything it makes shows up in the app with your other videos, and you can change or delete any of it there.
How do I disconnect it?
In the app, Settings → Agent access. Each connected agent is listed by name; delete it and it loses access right away.
Which brands can it work on?
Every brand on your account. Ask it to list them or name the one you want, e.g. “make this one for the bakery”.

Everything your agent can do works in the app too.
